Anmol (they/them) is an independent journalist and writer based in the National Capital Region in India. As a reporter and feature writer, they specialise in gender, queerness, mental health, social justice, food, and culture. Their work has appeared in national and international publications like The BMJ, The Christian Science Monitor, Xtra Magazine, Whetstone SA, The National UAE, Autostraddle, Vogue India, Article 14, Mint Lounge, Deccan Herald, and others. An alum of the Asian College of Journalism and a South Asia Speaks fellow (Class of 2022), Anmol currently works as a social media fellow with queerbeat to build safe, inclusive, and engaging online communities. They excel in reaching out to diverse audiences, initiating critical conversations, and proactively seeking feedback from all stakeholders. In addition to their professional work, Anmol also writes poems, reviews, and creative non-fiction (and engages in some pen and crayon art) that can be found on HA’s Place and their Instagram profile.
