Nayantara (she/her) is an independent journalist based in Bangalore. She has worked for more than 15 years as reporter, editor and producer for newsrooms such as The Caravan, Scroll.in and CNBC-TV18.
She has a master’s degree in health, science and environment journalism from Columbia University. She has worked on a range of stories that lie at the intersection of health, environment, gender and public policy. She has won a Ramnath Goenka Award for reporting and has delivered a TEDx talk on the blind spots in medical systems regarding women’s health. Nayantara is also a classical dancer having trained in both Bharatanatyam and Kathak.
